The #1 listed “Food Radio show Philadelphia”, Small Bites on Wildfire Radioreturns for their last show of 2018 and we are in the holiday spirit.

The show will begin with a holiday song from country music icon Martina McBride who has sold over 14 million albums and has released a new holiday album called “It’s The Holiday Season” from Broken Bow Records. She will then join us on air to talk about her new cookbook “Martina's Kitchen Mix: My Recipe Playlist for Real Life” from Oxmoor House Books Time Inc. Books. In this gorgeously photographed cookbook, readers will find more than 100 simple and satisfying recipes filled with fresh, seasonal ingredients and down-home flavor. Martina encourages cooking "outside the lines" and shows you how to make cooking fun with creative "ad-lib" tips for recipe riffs you might consider.

Then keeping us jolly in Philadelphia we are thrilled to welcome Tobias Fischer of German American Marketing, Inc. and he is the PR & Social Media Manager for Christmas Village in Philadelphia and Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market. To join him is Charisse McGill, Owner/Producer of Lokal Artisan Foods Group, LLC who is debuting at Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market with her French Toast Bites stand. Through Christmas Eve, Christmas Village will transform LOVE Park for the month into an authentic open-air German Christmas market, with holiday sights and sounds featuring thousands of twinkling lights, festive Christmas decorations, live music, children’s activities, and photos with Santa presented by ACME Markets. Shoppers will find high-quality international and local gifts along with beautiful decorations and are invited to warm up with a glass of mulled wine or hot chocolate while enjoying the great variety of European food and drinks. Admission is free as always, with food, drink and shopping pay as you go. Spread the cheer by following @philachristmas on Instagram and Twitter, liking Christmas Village in Philadelphia on Facebook and visiting http://www.philachristmas.com/. Across the street at Dilworth Park until Tuesday, January 1, 2019 Christmas Village in Philadelphia presented by Bank of America will be accompanied by the Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market sponsored by B101 Philly MORE FM. More than 50 local artisans, designers, crafters and confectionaries will offer unique selections for gifts and special holiday foods in white, festively lit tents topped with original Herrnhuter Sterne Stars. In contrast to the authentic German Christmas Village with international vendors, the Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market offers a wide variety of arts and crafts from local vendors from the greater Philadelphia area. With such a wide selection, visitors will be sure to find the perfect gift for their loved ones and themselves, like fashionable jewelry and clothes, unique decoration items and so much more. At the same time, a wide choice of locally-made sweets and foods will be available for visitors’ enjoyment, as well as the beautiful Wintergarden presented by TD Bank with an extended seating area, the ice skating at the Rothman Orthopaedic Institute Ice Rink and the Rothman Cabin, all conveniently located in Dilworth Park. Admission is free, so come by and enjoy the vibrant holiday atmosphere and shop local to find unique gifts for your family and friends!

To finish our holiday show off with the perfect stocking stuffers, we welcome back Irene At Spotlight Levy Baker, who is also author of 100 Things To Do In Philadelphia Before You Die and owner of Spotlight Public Relations who now brings us her new book Unique Eats and Eateries of Philadelphia published by Reedy Press.
