LIVE this Sunday, March 25th at 635pm Small Bites with Glenn Gross and Derek Timm of Bluejeanfood.com on Wildfire Radio returns with another stellar lineup. Some might even say a ROCKING lineup. We welcome Paul Green A.K.A the Godfather of Rock School Education and founder of School of Rock which was portrayed in the Hollywood movie “School of Rock” played by Jack Black. Paul returns home to Philadelphia to launch the PGRA Philly Paul Green Rock Academy. Twenty years since he opened a modest music school in Philly based on his ardent belief that kids would rather learn by rocking on stage. Well Paul Green has returned home to teach performance-based music again in the city where he founded the original School of Rock en route to revolutionizing music education across the nation. But this time, the Godfather of Rock School Education is starting small - and keeping it that way – to create The Greatest Music School in the Country. Unlike the School of Rock model, Green’s new school is an audition-only “Master’s Program in Rock Music” for kids “with big dreams and the chops to back them up.” In other words, serious musicians who need to already have “the gift of rock” before they even meet the man who gave it to an entire generation. The Paul Green Rock Academy is located 6183 Ridge Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19128. Serious musicians, aged 10-18, who are interested in auditioning should write to info@paulgreenrock.com. It includes sixty-two kitchen-tested recipes based on period sources from colonial Boston and Philadelphia, England, and France, all deliciously adapted for the modern kitchen.
